Password Reset   49er Express gives you access to University email, course information, grades, registration, accounts, events, announcements, clubs and organizations.

Login to 49er Express with your NinerNET account. Be sure to click the Logout icon to exit 49er Express, rather than just closing the browser.

49er Express Login

Use your NinerNET account to login to 49er Express. Get more information about PW Manager.

Already changed your password in PW Manager but forgot it?
Go to https://pwmanager.uncc.edu/
Enter your User Name and click Forgot Your Password?
Answer your secret questions and change your password.
First time login to PW Manager?
Go to https://pwmanager.uncc.edu/
Login with your User Name
Temporary Password = UNC Charlotte ID number + date of birth 80XXXXXXXMMDDYY
Temporary password doesn't work? Reset your password.

Remember!
When you change your password in PW Manager - you're changing the password for all University applications that use your NinerNET account. 49er Express holds important personal information and should be kept secure – don’t forget to logout when you are finished – especially when using any lab or public computer.

University Email

After you login to 49er Express, click the Email icon in the upper right hand corner and login with your NinerNET account to view your University email. Your University email is an official electronic communications method used by the University. Get more information about University email.

Register for Classes
  1. Open Internet Explorer and go to http://www.uncc.edu
  2. Click the 49er Express icon in the top right hand corner.
  3. Login to 49er Express with your NinerNET account .
  4. Under Registration & Self Service, select Click here for Banner Self Service to begin registration.
  5. Logout and close the browser to end your session and protect your account.
New Students: Before you login to 49er Express for the first time, go to PW Manager, click on the First Time Users link and follow the directions. PW Manager will create the password for your NinerNET account.

Get answers to your registration questions or visit the Registrar’s Office by clicking the My Records tab in 49er Express.

Blackboard Vista

Blackboard Vista courses are accessed after you login to 49er Express with your NinerNET account. Students can also follow quick guides on how to access Blackboard from 49er Express.

If you experience access problems, check the information on Blackboard Student Support before sending a help request. Get more information about Blackboard Vista and other e-Learning tools.

Direct Access

49er Express provides simple and convenient access to University services, however there are times when the system may be unavailable due to scheduled updates or unexpected outages.

The following services have "Direct Access" links, so if they are not impacted by an outage, you can login to these services outside of 49er Express. Get more information about Direct Access.


Get Help

If you have problems, click the Need Help? link on the main page of 49er Express or check the 49er Express FAQs.

Students get technical assistance from the Student Computing Help Center. Visit the Help Center in Barnard, call 704-687-6400 or submit your problem to the HelpDesk Online and a Technical Assistant will help.

Check the ITS Message Center for system alerts and the scheduled outages for additional information.
