Wireless Service
While wireless access does offer mobility, it is not a substitute for the services available in the computer labs. Wireless access doesn’t provide a direct connection to the University Novell network so you won’t have access to University software applications or printing services. You can access your H:\ drive with NetStorage at https://webf.uncc.edu. For additional applications and printing services, visit the Student Computing labs in Barnard.
Borrow a Laptop
Atkins Library loans laptop computers to students, faculty and staff for a 24-hour period. These laptops are already configured to access the University wireless network. Just click the Internet Explorer icon on the desktop and enter your NinerNET user name and password for Internet access. Visit http://library.uncc.edu for more information.
